Lightning the Greyhound
Seven to nine is definitely the witching hours for my greyhound. But we settled into a routine ok. He eats at 630. Rests a half hour. Then we play so he can run around the house and fetch the ball. Then he goes out for a quick walkies. Then back inside to lie down next to Mommy and chill out. He then follows me to get when I shut off the tv and lights, and say, let’s go nite nite, go to bed now. He sleeps a good ten hours and I’m happy for that. Time to read a bit and wind down myself while I watch him snooze in comfort.
I put my dog out to the garden just before every night , then I give her a treat when she goes to the bedroom and when I get into bed she settles down.
