My puppy can slip out of her harness when I’m not looking. She has a collar now.

Mine has a spaz attack with either. She is only 8 weeks, so we are practicing a few minutes at a time. She goes into deadman mode with either, or tries to scrap it off. Yorkie. The slip collar was a bit better today. I’m going to practice that more.

What do u recommend for teacup yorkie? Harness or collar? I’ve tried a few on from both. She’s now about 1.7lbs. She only fits cat xxxs size and omg when I try putting any on or brushing she bites and growls and squirms like a fish. I feel like she’s gonna have a heart attack.

You have to give value to the equipment. Form a ring with it and offer her a treat as she puts her head through the ring to reach your hand. Do this enough and she will be easy to get equipment on.

Help!! I’m lost on how much and how often a puppy should eat a day, including should I mix in dog wet food or boiled chicken and rice ect ? What’s best diet for my 3 1/2mo teacup yorkie about 1.5-1.8lbs please???

Depends on puppy size… Here is a estimate. 1 cup of kibble for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. When puppy is older it’s 4 cups Total. When my dog is 1 yr. I am going feed her one time a day. As of now 3 time a day

4 small feeds throughout the day. Use your eye to judge how much weight puppy puts on; they gain and lose much faster than humans. Look into feeding raw as well as some bone. Planty of info on this around the web.

Hi there I love your dog training videos they are awesome and I just came across this live which is wonderful. Although I wished you had pictures of what you were talking about not everybody knows the dog lingo I’m a new puppy mom and the majority of the stuff that you’re talking about I know nothing of what they are if I had a visual picture of it it would be so much more awesome and to look up online as you’re talking I miss a lot of what you’re saying in this podcast.

We have a 10 wk old lab puppy and a 14 wk old kitten. They get along great except i think they play a little rough. People say they will learn each other’s boundaries. This doesn’t feel right to me, I feel like I need to intervene before it escalates and the puppy is bitting

I had a Siamese kitten and already a 10min th Jorkie. They would wrestle and chase like a cartoon. Puppy would litterally drag her by her feet and tail then kitten would run and chase puppy. They are like best friends and know there boundaries. Just watch for cats claws u don’t want to scratch puppy eyes!!

    Hi from Australia 🇦🇺
We have a 14 week old Kelpie and we feel like we’ve tried everything for her biting but we haven’t seen any improvement. The only progress that seems to be happening is the intensity of her biting, and oh my gosh she hurts! 😅

Try a large bone – it worked on my boxer boy. Ask the butcher for softer bone like the flank etc. Naturually, dont give her the bone after she’s been chomping on you. 😄

Thank you! She follows us around the house biting our ankles, legs, hands and clothing. She’s hard work. But we love her ❤

Hi. I just got my puppy today. It seems that the collar is making the pup choke. Would the harness be better? He is 3 lbs for now.

🇮🇪 Watching as usual on morning after. My dobie of 20 weeks, sits, downs, waits, stays and poops on command. Recall is bad as she’s not treat orientated and she pulls hard on the lead still. Has figured how to slip from her harness during short 10 minutes drives to beach. Buying a halti this week.
