The age-old question of whether you’re a cat person or a dog person can be an indicator of your personality and chosen lifestyle. We are usually drawn to the animal that would suit our way of life. But what if we liked an animal that looked like a cat but was, in reality, a dog?
A quirky pup named Dui, who hails from Vietnam, has intrigued both cat and dog lovers worldwide. People are left guessing as to the dog’s breed, marveling at the pup’s uncanny resemblance to a British shorthair cat. The dog’s owners, Hai Anh and Tuan, revealed that it was a cross between a short-legged dog called a Dingo and a Vietnamese native dog breed called Hmong.
Hmong dogs are native to Vietnam, initially bred by the local ethnic groups. These dogs were used for hunting and guarding due to their above-average intelligence and strength. They are usually found in the mountain areas of northern Vietnam and are identified by their small docked tail.
This type of dog is also known for its loyalty and heart-meltingly cute appearance. These dogs are exceptionally good with kids, with their love for play and romping around. These dogs are also amiable, often preferring to interact with people and other animals.
Dui’s owners have recently created a fan page to celebrate the all-around cuteness of the lovable pup. The page garnered over 40,000 likes in just five days since it went online. People around the world couldn’t get enough of this derpy ‘cat dog.’
Numerous photos of this playful pup have started spreading online. Dui is a playful and mischievous puppy, often seen with comical facial expressions that endeared him all the more to his fans worldwide. Dui may be a strange ‘cat dog,’ but he is still a sweet, cuddly good boy who is bound to steal your heart.
