Claus, The Sweet Frenchie Abandoned Days Before Christmas, Needs Help

A family that lives in Spain noticed a little French Bulldog outside their house. They thought he was with his owner, but no one was there. Curious and worried at the same time, they went out to check and confirmed that the pup was on his own.

Seeing the poor dog outside broke the hearts of the family members. Thankfully, they knew who to call for help, so they reached out to Let’s Adopt International. It’s founder, Viktor Larkhill, dropped everything and rushed to save the dog.

Once at the residence, the family showed the rescuer where they temporarily kept the little Frenchie. They gave the dog a blanket to keep him warm. And they fed and gave him some water, too.

Like the family, Viktor was devastated when he saw the dog. The helpless animal was pretty sick and weak. He couldn’t eat well because he has a terrible mass inside his small mouth.

Viktor wrapped the dog, named Claus, with a blanket and carried him into his car. He rushed him to the hospital and had him checked right away. All the vets and the nurses worried for the little guy, so they made sure to keep him comfortable and pain-free throughout.

Despite the discomfort, Claus remained to be the best patient he could be. He sat down patiently and let the doctors do their job. He was in pain, and he endured a little bit more because he knew the people around him would help him feel better.

Claus is currently at the hospital, under the expert care of his vet team. He still needs to undergo several tests so the doctors could determine when he’s ready for the surgery. He’s in bad shape, but everyone remains hopeful that he will pull through.

To help Claus get better, Let’s Adopt International reaches out to everyone’s generous hearts. Every small amount will go a very long way once combined. Let’s send Claus our love this Christmas season and help him live a longer life.
