I really want to tell you about crate safety while working on puppy crate training, especially since I almost lost my mini Dachshund to a fundamental mistake I made many years ago. When I didn’t remove her collar, she got it stuck on her mouth and I had to cut it off. Your dog should be naked in the crate: no harnesses, no collars. Safety first!
