Andrei has been fostering dogs for quite a while, and he has a few in his home. When he saw Suki, he knew that she was going to be part of his family. It didn’t even bother Andrei that he needed to go on a whole day drive from Germany to Romania to get her.
He was that determined to foster Suki. He was determined because she was a disabled dog and needed guidance.
The people who rescued her assumed that she must have been hit by a car. She was left with a damaged spine because of it. This resulted in her disability.
They had her checked, and the doctor said that it was inoperable. Suki will never walk again. Because of this, Andrei got her a wheelchair, and she loved it!
She was able to move and go around freely with it. It made her move faster, which was something that she truly enjoyed. Andrei and his family were happy to see Suki’s progress. She has completely changed since her first day with them.
For the first few days with the family, Suki was very distant. She did not want them to touch her or get near her. She found comfort moving around on her own.
This did not stop Andrei and his family to shower her with love and affection. In time, she realized that she was safe with the family, and that’s when she started to open up. The family has truly bonded with Suki, which made it difficult for them to give her away.
It was bittersweet sweet, but Andrei knew that she found the best family. Suki is pleased and is living her best life. This is all thanks to Andrei and his family for taking care of Suki. They made sure that she was ready for her forever home.
