Spot on. Same for cats btw, one of my cats ate a piece of ribbon and blocked his guts. £980 vet bill to have it removed. I cringe when I see people encouraging their cats and dogs to play with bits of yarn and string.

My dog has swallowed strings a ton of times she actually actively tries to eat her rope toys. This has me pretty concerned. I don’t notice any issues with her and most of the time I find out she’s been eating strings because I find it in her poop
