I’d use rubbing alcohol, not hydrogen peroxide. Hydrogen peroxide is an irritant and shouldn’t be used on any animals skin including ours as it can even cause chemical burns in some cases. Alcohol is what we use for minor wounds at the vet clinic I work at.
