A dog named Benny has become a local celebrity. He is known in their town as the ice-skating dog. This is because Benny loves to skate and would often be found in the ice skating rink.
He loves it mainly because he gets all the attention. Not every dog can do what he does, which impresses has a lot of people. Getting their attention is one thing that Benny truly enjoys when he is out there on the ice.
That’s why it was difficult for his mom, Cheryl, to separate him from what he loved doing because of the lockdown. It was excruciating for her not to be able to give Benny what he wanted. Benny was unable to skate for over six months. To compensate, his mom needed to find different activities to keep him busy for all those months.
Cheryl wanted to make sure that she kept Benny active, especially since he was bored in the house. Cheryl was so relieved when the rink finally opened again. She could not wait to tell Benny the good news!
When she finally told him this, he immediately looked for his skates. He knew exactly where it was. He had his skates in a bag and immediately brought this bag with him to the vehicle. He was that excited.
She was a little anxious to see if Benny still remembered how to skate. Benny was such a natural that he skated with ease. One can tell how happy he was that he could skate again.
He just went in the rink and skated his heart out. Cheryl was pleased to see him get out of the house and do what he loves doing. She is determined to bring him often to the skating rink because he has about six months of skating to do.
