My mom would do this with our dog but with a ball instead of food. He had to hit the correct hand before she’d throw it. While he loved playing and was great at fetching,the bringing it back part wasn’t his priority! Lol he’s blind now so playing this way is no longer an option but he’s still content to sit and chew on his toys til he destroys them. Lol

This makes me smile so big! I also have a GR as my Service Dog. I do this sometimes with her too. I don’t know how she does it but she about 99.9% knows where the treat is! I use a milk bone or a Pupperoni treat. She loves those! I don’t know what I’d do without her. 🤗❣️
