Does your pup get nervous around your vacuum or other household objects? If so, follow THESE steps👇
️⃣ First, create a positive association with it while it’s off and at a distance away from your pup (where they can see it, but it’s not stressing them out)
️⃣ Next, slowly incorporate the sound of it running (still at a distance) but not moving, with good things (like treats)
️⃣ Then, add movement while it’s running, but at a distance your pup finds tolerable
️⃣ As training sessions progress, you can teach your pup where you’d like them to hang out while the vacuum is on! Heavily reinforce for remaining calm and on the spot, bed or cot.
