Yep! That happens! You might want to pull up the bell until it’s closer to the next scheduled potty break. It’s normal that a human has to be involved in the process all throughout the first year. Be sure to spend fun time outside if he/she seems to like being out there!

Great info. We love that non retractable part. Too bad the pup can’t explore a bit on a long leash but we understand the need to protect the area from being trampled!
